American Spirit

This piece was made on white cold-press illustration board with
Prisma colored pencils in 2024.

For American Spirit, I wanted to focus my color palette on primary colors for the majority
of the piece. The cigarette carton highlights my
style of character design and sets the tone
for the remaining “characters” within this series.

American Spirit was accepted to the 2025 University of Indianapolis, Department of
Art and Design Juried Student Exhibition, and remained on display for 2 weeks.
